These clumps are about 0.6m across. The slippery-looking ones at the end may be because I took them at sunset when the dew was settling.

Atlantic mackerel (Scomber scombrus)

I also caught a single Atlantic horse mackerel (Trachurus trachurus). Unrelated species, a spiny beast but they all come off easily if you pan fry the whole thing. Tastes excellent.
